Loan Documentation Specialist

GENERAL FUNCTION:

Responsible for Commercial Loan Documentation and coordination of closing.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1. Documents new commercial loans on Laser Pro System
  2. Document consumer CD and vehicle loans via the Banker Insight and Laser Pro System.
  3. Document modifications, extensions and renewals of commercial loans.
  4. Orders UCC Searches, Good Standings on Company’s, Judgment Tax Lien Searches, Title Commitments, OFAC and Flood Searches.
  5. Assist in the closing of a loan by setting up closing dates and times. Submitting the loan package to the Title Company and assuring that the banks receives appropriate documents from Title Company.
  6. Assist in supervising and training other department members as well as to assign the specific projects and tasks to other department members from time to time.
  7. Primary duty includes the exercise of discretion and independent judgment relative to preparation of loan documentation.
  8. Assume additional responsibilities as requested by direct supervisor.
  9. Support the banks In-house Attorney with his documentation of larger new commercial loans.
  10. Maintains all commercial loan files, pre and post closing, by creating the new credit file and scanning it into TREEV.
  11. Collect, review and process CRA data in coordination with the Compliance Department.
  12. Backscan all existing commercial credit files into TREEV with the aid of department staff members.
  13. Maintain the Bank’s financial information tickler log according to its procedure

Every employee of Republic Bank is responsible for knowing and practicing Bank Secrecy Laws (AML/CIP/SAR/CTR/OFAC), the USA Patriot Act, and other related regulations as they relate to their specific job function. Training will be provided during your Introductory Period and annually thereafter. If you need additional training, you are responsible for contacting your immediate supervisor.
