Republic Bank is pleased
to announce that we have received an "Excellence in Business" award
from the West Suburban
Chamber of Commerce. The award, presented at their Seeds
of Greatness 2008 Community Awards Dinner, was presented to us for
our high level of activity in the Hodgkins community.
Specifically, the bank was commended for:
 | A grant of $50,000 for Hodgkins H. E. L. P. (Hodgkins
Extended Learning Program) an after-school program for
intermediate students in Hodgkins schools. |
| A program to encourage children to save money
for charitable causes. This includes banks in each
classroom and essay writing. |
| Becoming a key partner of the West Suburban
Chamber by donating office space and providing support to the
chamber, both financially and from bank employees. |
